The annual heART event remains one of the most awaited events on Mt. Helix raising critical funds for Park operations and entertaining more than 500 guests.

(2) Honorable Mentions and (1) People’s Choice will also be awarded All winners will be given one complementary ticket to the heART event (value $100) where their artwork will be on display for sale. All chosen art will also be displayed at Nainsook framing + art from July 14h – August 25th, 2018. 20% of any art sales will be donated to the Mt. Helix Park Foundation if sold at the 2018 heART or during the period displayed at Nainsook framing + art.
The winning image should reflect a recognizable representation of a person, place, thing, or event found within the Mt. Helix Community.

Entry due: Friday, July 6, 2018 11 – 6 p.m. Juror – Elaine Harvey
All entries to be delivered with completed application and entry fee on Friday, July 6th from 11-6 p.m. to Nainsook framing + art, 8130 La Mesa Blvd.
Unaccepted work must be picked up Tuesday, July 10th from 11-6 p.m.
The awards ceremony and reception will be held at Nainsook framing + art on Saturday, July 14th from 6 -8 p.m. The gallery show will be up at Nainsook from July 14th – Aug. 25th. Artists must pick up their art Aug. 28th or 29th between 11 – 6 p.m.
Artists will be asked to sign an image release to the Mt. Helix Park Foundation for their award winning artwork for marketing applications via print, social and electronic media.  All awarded art will be transported to the heART of Mt. Helix Annual Fundraiser on Sat Aug 13 to be for viewing and potential sale.
